We are over in Malad West, specifically in the Nirman Industrial Estate. It’s on the New Link Road, which is basically a parking lot most of the time during the day. Our office is split between 102 and 126. It’s a bit of a walk between the two doors if you’re carrying heavy things or files. Being right behind the Chincholi fire station is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. You just look for the big red trucks and then head into the lane. The building has that typical industrial feel with wide concrete stairs and heavy metal doors. We’ve been set up here at Chincholi Bunder for quite some time now. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and people working on their computers or talking on the phone. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. If someone comes by, they usually just pull up a chair next to the desk. The windows look out over the back of the estate. It’s not the most scenic view, mostly just other buildings and some parked delivery vans. We stay pretty busy with the day-to-day stuff. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or use the backup battery. It’s a decent place to work. We know the security guards and the guys at the tea shop downstairs. It’s a small community in this building.
