Most people find us because our office is right opposite the Hong Kong Bank in the Gokul Arcade. It is a busy area in Vile Parle East and it stays noisy most of the day. I remember when this whole stretch near the Tata Silk Farm was a bit quieter than it is now. Today, with all the Kanakapura Road traffic, things are always moving fast around here. At Urvi Estate Agency, we basically just sit down with whoever walks in and try to figure out what kind of flat or shop they actually need. It is a small office in unit A-2, so it gets a bit crowded on Saturdays when everyone has time off work. We deal with a lot of different people, from young students looking for a small room to older couples trying to downsize. Dealing with property in Mumbai is always a bit of a headache with the rules and the prices changing constantly, but we have been doing this long enough to know the way things work. We do not use any fancy software or anything, just our notebooks and a lot of phone calls to owners. Sometimes the phone does not stop ringing all morning. It is okay though, because it keeps us busy and the day goes by quickly. We know the buildings around here pretty well, every nook and corner of the arcade and the surrounding streets near the bank.
