Universal Diamond Tools

We are located at Plot No 83 in Motibaug, over near S T Road in Chembur. It’s a bit of a trek to find us if you don’t know the area well, especially since the streets around Sheikh Menon Street can get confusing. The shop is basically a big room full of tools and workbenches. It smells like metal and oil most of the time. We don't really have a showroom. If someone wants to see something, we just pull it out of a crate. The floors are concrete and have seen better days. We spend a lot of time talking to guys who come in looking for specific parts for their projects. Sometimes we have what they need, sometimes we have to tell them where else to look. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or free coffee. We just do our work. The rain usually gets in under the door when there’s a big storm, so we keep everything on pallets. It’s a practical way to run things. The guys who work here are good at what they do, even if they aren't the most talkative bunch. We mostly just focus on the orders and making sure the counts are right. It’s a long day, especially when the heat hits in the afternoon, but we’ve got a couple of big fans that help a bit. It’s just a normal tool shop in a busy corner of Chembur. We've been here a long time and don't plan on moving.
