We run things from Flat No 11 in Building No 3. It’s on the Ram Juhu Sahar Airport Road, right next to the Arya Vidya Mandir School. Being an estate consultant from a flat might seem different, but it works for us. Umesh Dodwani Estate Consultant is basically where we sit down and talk about property. We have maps and some files spread out on the tables. It is a quiet place to discuss things without the noise of a storefront. People usually call us first and then come over to the building. The school next door makes it easy for people to find where we are. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out looking at different sites around the city. When we are here at the flat, we are usually catching up on paperwork or meeting with people who want to buy or rent something. It’s a very personal way of doing business. We don’t have big flashing lights or anything like that. It’s just a residential building where we have our office space. The airport road is always busy, but once you step inside Building No 3, it’s much calmer. We just try to help people figure out their housing needs. It is a lot of talking and a lot of walking, but that is the job. We keep it simple and focus on the local area.
