You can find our office at 23863 Worli West, right on the 4th Main Road. It is a busy part of the city, and the traffic outside never really seems to stop, even late in the afternoon. The building is one of those older ones where you can hear everything happening in the hallway. Inside, we have a few desks and a lot of paper stacked up in the corners. Uma spends most of her time on the phone or going through the mail that arrives every morning. We do not have any big signs out front, so people sometimes have to look twice to find the entrance. The room has a large window, but the view is mostly just the tops of cars and the building across the street. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp during the long afternoons. It is a very practical setup without any unnecessary decorations or comforts. We just focus on the work that needs to be finished by the end of the day. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little bit near the window frame when the monsoon is heavy, so we have to keep the files away from that side. It is just a regular office where we do our best to stay on top of the daily tasks. We have been in Worli for years and know the rhythms of the street quite well by now.
