Tuk The Urban Kitchen

We are located over in Bandra East, in the H V R Layout part of the K H B Colony. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main road, but we’re right here on Magadi Main Road 2. The kitchen is where I spend most of my time, dealing with the heat and the noise of the fans. We do a lot of cooking for the people who live in this specific colony. It’s a residential area, so we know many of our customers by name. Sometimes the grocery delivery is late, and I have to go out and buy stuff myself from the local market to keep things going. The kitchen isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. We try to keep things organized, but when dinner time comes, everything gets a bit messy with pots and pans everywhere. I’m usually checking the orders while someone else handles the stove. The Magadi road outside can get quite dusty, so we are always wiping the front area down so it doesn't look bad. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; it’s just us making food every day. Some days are slow and we just sit around cleaning, and other days we can barely keep up with the tickets. It’s a practical business, just trying to serve meals to the neighborhood and keep the lights on.
