Tropical Island Exports

We are located on the ground floor of Central Building Number 1. It’s right across from the Kalbadevi Post Office in the New Silk Bazar. Tropical Island Exports has been operating out of this room for many years. The area is incredibly crowded, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. It’s a very old building, and you can tell by the high ceilings and the way the doors creak. We don't have a lot of space, so we have to be smart about how we stack the goods. Usually, the floor is half-covered with packing materials and tape dispensers. We aren't fancy people. We wear comfortable shoes because we’re on our feet most of the day. The post office being across the street makes things a bit easier for our mail, though the traffic can be a nightmare during the afternoons. We don't have a polished receptionist or a lobby with magazines. You just walk in and you’re right in the middle of our workspace. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to the chaos of the bazaar. But for us, it’s just home. We’ve worked this way for a long time and don't see any reason to change it now. We just focus on the daily grind and getting everything shipped out on time. It is a busy, cramped, and honest way to work.
