The Royal Miya Collections

The Royal Miya Collections is located at 168 Topiwala Center, which is right behind the government school. It’s a small clothing shop where we spend our days surrounded by racks of garments. You can hear the school bells and the children playing outside during their breaks, which makes the day go by a bit faster. Our space is pretty tight, so we’ve had to be creative with how we hang everything up. We don’t have a big staff, just us working the floor and helping people find what they need. Topiwala Center has a lot of little shops like ours, so it’s a busy atmosphere most of the time. We spend a lot of time folding clothes that have been tried on and making sure the shop looks decent. The floor is a bit old and the racks can be a little wobbly if you move them too fast. We aren't a big chain store, just a local spot where you can find something to wear. We don’t do any fancy advertising or anything like that. People mostly find us because they’re in the area or they go to the school nearby. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the center, but we have a fan that keeps the air moving. It’s a simple life and we like running our own shop.
