Finding our place isn't always the easiest thing if you aren't from around this part of town. We’re located in the Anandraj Industrial estate, specifically at unit 216. You have to turn off the main L.B.S. Road onto Sonapur Lane and then wind your way back toward the industrial units. Bhandup West is always a bit noisy with all the workshops and small factories running nearby. Tool Concept is basically just a functional workshop where we spend our hours looking at drawings and handling different types of equipment. It gets pretty dusty inside because of all the construction nearby and the constant traffic on the main road. We’ve got a small team here and most of us have been working together for a lot of years. We know who likes their tea with extra sugar and who wants it plain. The office part of the building is just a small corner with a few chairs and a computer that has definitely seen better days. We don't spend any money on fancy decorations because we’re usually out on the floor working anyway. It’s just practical, everyday work. Sometimes the rain makes the lane outside a bit of a muddy mess, but we still manage to get everything done. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall or anything. We just take the orders as they come and do the work. It’s what we know how to do best. That’s just the reality of working in Bhandup.
