We are set up in Vile Parle West at number 8. It is a lively part of the city, and our building usually has some kind of sound coming from it. You might hear someone trying to learn a scale on a guitar or a kid hitting the wrong notes on a keyboard. That is just how it is at Theme Music Institute. We have been here for a bit, and it is a place where people come when they want to learn an instrument. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the instruments and some chairs. The rooms are small but they work for what we need. It can get a bit crowded in the evenings when the students finish school and come over for their lessons. We spend a lot of time tuning instruments or organizing the sheet music that gets left behind. Vile Parle West is a good spot for us because it is easy for people to find. We aren't trying to be some world-famous conservatory; we just want to help people play some music for themselves. Some of the teachers have been here for years, and we all know the regulars by name now. It is a lot of repetitive work, hearing the same songs over and over, but it is nice when a student finally gets a piece right. We just open up the doors every day and see who shows up to play their favorite songs.
