The True School Of Music

We are over at 107 Sun Mill Compound in Lower Parel. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. Most days start with unlocking the doors and getting things ready for whoever is coming in to learn music that day. You can find us right in the middle of the compound. We’ve been at The True School Of Music for a while now. It’s not a fancy office, just a place where music happens. Sometimes the street outside gets noisy but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We spend a lot of time just keeping things running. Some of us have been here since the start and others joined later. We don't really do the big corporate thing. It’s more about the instruments and the students. If you walk through the compound, you’ll see our sign. Inside it’s mostly just us working. We try to keep it simple. It's a lot of work running a music school but it's what we do. The rooms are usually full of people practicing or talking about songs. Lower Parel has changed a lot but we’re still here doing our thing. It’s a practical setup. Nothing too shiny. We just focus on the music and making sure everyone has what they need. Some mornings are quiet and others are pretty hectic with people running around. That’s just how it goes at The True School Of Music. We mostly just drink our tea and get to work.
