The Banyan Tree Express

We are located inside the Geeta Cinema Compound over in Worli. It’s a bit of an older spot, and the Worli Naka area is always packed with cars and buses. The Banyan Tree Express is what we call ourselves. It’s a small operation, really. Most of the time, we are just busy keeping up with the orders that come in. The compound itself has a lot of history, though it looks a bit worn down these days. We spend most of our time in the back making sure everything is ready. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we have a small fan that helps a bit. People from the nearby offices often walk over during their break. We see them walking through the gate of the cinema compound every day. It’s funny how you get to know someone’s routine without even talking to them much. We don't have a lot of space for people to sit around, so it's mostly people grabbing what they need and leaving. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Work keeps us pretty occupied from morning until late evening. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a few minutes, and we just wait it out. It’s just a normal place in a busy part of Mumbai, trying to keep things moving. We don't do anything too complicated here, just the basics.
