Tawde Real Estate

This is Room No 7 in the Shree Ganesh Krupa building. We are right in Kothrud, Pune, just across from Panchavati Dham. Tawde Real Estate is basically a small office where we keep all the files for the properties around this area and Dahisar. It’s a local operation. My desk is near the door, and there’s a small fan that makes a lot of noise but helps during the Pune summers. We spend a lot of time walking around the neighborhoods showing people flats or plots of land. People usually drop by after seeing the board outside. It’s a busy area, especially with the temple nearby, so there’s always people walking past. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking on the street. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the local streets well. The office walls are covered with some maps and old calendars. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New buildings coming up where there used to be open ground. It’s a lot of talking and explaining things to families who are looking for a new place to live. We drink a lot of tea while looking through the registers. It’s honest work, helping people find a roof over their heads. Nothing too complicated about how we run things here at Room No 7. We have been here for years and know everyone on the block.
