Rabab Leather

Rabab Leather is located at A4(A) in the Sheriff & Chandulal Apartments on Bandra-Sion Link Road. If you know Sion, you know how the traffic gets around here, especially during the morning rush. We spend most of our days surrounded by rolls of leather and the tools we use for cutting and stitching. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a practical workspace where we get things done. The apartment building itself has been here for a while, and we have gotten used to the noise from the link road outside. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the work, but that is just how a leather workshop is. People usually find us by looking for the apartments first since the signage isn't huge. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the material well. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing fancy things; we mostly just focus on the leather pieces sitting on our benches. The smell of the hides is pretty strong when you first walk in, but after ten minutes, you don't even notice it anymore. We keep our supplies tucked into the corners and try to stay organized, though it doesn't always stay that way when we are busy. It’s a straightforward setup in a busy part of Mumbai, and we like being here because it is easy to get materials delivered without much trouble.
