Symphony Music Academy

Symphony Music Academy is tucked away in Mulund G I D C 13. It’s a bit of an industrial-feeling area, but once you step inside, it’s all about the instruments. We started this place because we just wanted a spot where people could learn to play without all the fuss of a big, expensive conservatory. We have a few rooms for practice and some instruments scattered around. It’s usually pretty noisy, which is a good sign I guess. You’ll hear someone struggling with a guitar chord in one room and maybe a bit of piano from another. It isn't always perfect, but that’s how learning goes. The staff here are just regular people who happen to know a lot about music. We don't have a fancy dress code or anything like that. We just want people to feel comfortable enough to make mistakes and try again. Sometimes the fan in the corner rattles a bit too much, or we can't find the right tuner, but we make it work. Most of our students live nearby in Mulund. We don't do much advertising. People just see the sign or hear about us from a friend. It’s a small, local music spot. We’re just here to help people get better at whatever instrument they’ve picked up. It’s a decent way to spend the day, listening to people try their best and making a bit of progress each week. It's not about being perfect players, just enjoying the noise we make together.
