My name is Prakash and I run things here at Swiss Estate Agency. We’ve been in this spot at Shop No 49 on the first floor of Heera Pan for quite some time now. If you know Andheri West, you probably know where the Sreeji Hotel is, and we’re right near there. It’s a busy part of town but we like it. I started this because I saw how hard it was for people to just find a place to live without getting a headache. We handle mostly local flats and some commercial spots around the neighborhood. It’s just a small office, nothing fancy. You’ll see files everywhere and usually a cup of tea on the desk. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s usually just me and a couple of others helping out. We spend most of our day on the phone or walking around showing properties to folks who stop by. Some days are slow, others are a mess of paperwork. We try to keep things straightforward. If a place has a leaky tap or the landlord is difficult, we usually just say so. There’s no point in hiding stuff because people find out eventually. Most of our clients come from word of mouth or just people walking up the stairs because they saw our sign.
