We have been operating out of the D.P.K. Compound on Khairani Road for quite a long time now. Sakinaka is a crowded place, and our spot here is right in the thick of it. Most days, the shop floor is pretty loud with the sound of metal and machines running. It isn't a fancy office by any means, but it gets the job done for us. Our team mostly consists of guys who have been doing this for years, so they know the machines inside and out. Sometimes the traffic on Khairani Road makes getting parts in or out a real headache, but we manage. People know where to find us in the compound. We mostly spend our hours checking blueprints or fixing issues that pop up during production. It is a lot of hands-on work. The walls are a bit stained with oil and there is always dust around, which is just part of being in this kind of trade. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone holding a wrench or standing over a lathe. It is just a regular workshop where we try to keep things moving and make sure what goes out the door is what the customer asked for. We usually eat lunch together in a small corner near the back. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down over Sakinaka.
