You can find us on Khadilkar Road, right near the Big Bazar on Senapati Bapat Marg. Being in the Lower Parel area means things are always moving fast around here. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a lot. Our place is mostly a big kitchen where we spend the whole day prepping and cooking. A lot of traditional snacks and meals are prepared here for people to take on their way to the station. This isn't a fancy restaurant with nice tablecloths or anything like that. It’s a practical workspace filled with large stainless steel pots and sacks of spices. The heat from the stoves can be quite a lot, especially in the afternoons. Our small staff consists of local people who have been working with us since the beginning. We don't spend any time on fancy packaging or advertisements. Focus is kept on getting the food done and out the door. Sometimes the street outside gets flooded when it rains heavily, but we usually stay open anyway. Keeping everything clean and organized is a constant job when things are so busy. We show up early to start the prep and are usually the last ones to close up the shutters on this block.
