Surface Mount Devices

Our office is room 204 in the Sai Dham building, right by Jhulelal Chowk on the 90 Feet Road in Ghatkopar East. It’s a busy corner of the world. Surface Mount Devices is a small operation, and we spend most of our time dealing with electronic components. The building is usually full of people going up and down the stairs. Inside our space, it’s mostly boxes and bits of electronics everywhere. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a place where we sit and sort through things or talk to people who come in looking for specific parts. The 90 Feet Road is always noisy with rickshaws and cars, but we don't mind it much. We’ve been in Ghatkopar for a while and we know the local shops pretty well. Lunch usually comes from one of the stalls nearby. We aren't a big corporation with lots of rules. It’s just a few of us making sure the orders get out on time. Sometimes the paperwork gets a little messy, but we find what we need eventually. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We don't put on an act for anyone. If you come by, you’ll see us as we are, surrounded by parts and probably drinking coffee. It’s a steady way to spend the day in a lively neighborhood like this.
