Our place, Surajmal Shantilal Jain, is located on Tilak Marg, right near Gyan Mandir. It is a well-known area and we have been part of the scenery here for a long time. The street is usually full of people going to the temple or just passing through. Our building is simple and reflects the way we do things. We don't go for anything modern or trendy. Most of the day is spent handling the usual business tasks that have been done the same way for years. We keep our ledgers and check our stock without much help from fancy machines. It’s a traditional way of working that feels right to us. The proximity to Gyan Mandir means we hear the bells and the sounds of the crowd quite often. It’s a peaceful spot in its own way, despite the busy road. We don't have a lot of employees, just a core group that knows how everything works. We open the doors in the morning and stay until the work is finished. There isn't a lot of talk about growth or expansion; we just want to keep things steady. People know where to find us on Tilak Marg if they need us. We don't put up big posters or try to grab people's attention. We just stay here and do the work that needs doing. It is a quiet life and we prefer to keep it that way for the most part.
