Suraj Constructions

Suraj Constructions is based out of the ground floor of Vinod Villa. That’s at Plot No. 212 in the Khar area. It’s a residential-looking building but we’ve got our office right there. It makes things easy for people to stop by. The space is filled with blueprints, rolled up maps, and some building materials we’re testing out. It gets a bit dusty from time to time. We spend half our time here and the other half out at various sites. Khar is a busy neighborhood, so there’s always noise from the street. We’ve been working out of this spot for years. It’s got a bit of a lived-in feel. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with other projects to worry about it. We have a couple of desks and a big table for looking at drawings. People know where to find us. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. Most of our work comes from word of mouth around the neighborhood. It’s a small operation. We keep track of everything in big ledgers and on the computer. It’s practical. When you walk in, you’ll likely see one of us on the phone or looking over a plan. We just do what needs to be done to keep things moving. It's a real office for real construction work. There is always a stack of empty coffee cups on the side table by the door. We don't mind the mess much.
