Sur Sagar Fast Food Corner & Restaurant

Our place, Sur Sagar Fast Food Corner & Restaurant, is right near the Majas Depot in Jogeshwari. If you stand outside, you can see the buses pulling in and out all day long. We are also right across from the Green Field CHS, so we get a lot of the residents coming over when they don't feel like cooking at home. The restaurant has a mix of small tables and a counter where we handle the quick stuff. It’s a pretty basic setup. We have a couple of ceiling fans that hum quite loudly, but they help when it’s humid outside. The menu is mostly things that we can cook up fast, like snacks and simple meals. In the mornings, it’s mostly tea and people rushing to catch their bus. By lunchtime, the tables fill up with workers from the nearby shops. We keep the water jugs filled and the napkins stocked, though sometimes we forget to refill the salt shakers. The staff here is just a few of us who have worked together for a bit. We know which regulars want their food spicy and who wants extra onions. It’s not the kind of place where you stay for hours, but it’s comfortable enough for a quick bite. Jogeshwari can be a noisy neighborhood, and we are right in the middle of it, just doing our thing across from the housing society and next to the bus depot every single day.
