Sunil S Yadav operates out of the ground floor of the Laxmi Niwas Building. This is part of the 9 Mahim Satellite area, which is a pretty well-known spot if you live around here. The building is one of those older structures that has seen a lot of years. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in from the street without having to deal with stairs or elevators. It gets a bit dark inside sometimes because the buildings are close together, but we keep a few lights on and keep the fans running. Mahim is always a busy place, so there is a constant sound of cars and people talking outside the window. We have a simple setup with just the basic furniture we need to get through the daily tasks. Most of the neighbors in Laxmi Niwas know us by name since we have been in this spot for a long time. There is a small tea stall just a few steps away where we usually go when we need a break from the paperwork. The walls here could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it is a functional space that works for what we do. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. It is more about keeping things moving and finishing the work before the day ends. Living and working in Mahim means you get used to the hustle and the lack of quiet.
