Sumey Creation

We are located up on the seventh floor of Vijay Nagar Society on Sahar Road in Andheri East. Our unit number is B2-702 and it is a bit of a walk from the main gate of the society. Sahar Road is always full of traffic so getting here in the morning is usually a struggle for the staff. We started Sumey Creation because we wanted to do something of our own. It is just a few of us in a small room with some sewing machines and a cutting table that takes up most of the space. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and a bit of the road below. We spend a lot of time talking about what designs might work this month. Sometimes we argue about it but we always finish the day with a cup of tea. It is not always easy running a place in Andheri because everything moves so fast and everyone is in a constant hurry. We have a lot of fabric rolls piled up in the corner because we keep buying things we think we might use later. The lift in our wing is quite old and sometimes it stops working so we have to use the stairs. That is not fun when we are carrying heavy bags of materials. But we have been here for a couple of years now and we have gotten used to the quirks of the building. It is a decent place to work.
