Ultimate Decals Inc.

You’ll find Ultimate Decals Inc. inside Krishna Bhavan, which is right across from Sona Udyog on Palki Panchayat Road in Andheri East. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and our building is usually humming with the sound of the city. Inside our unit, it’s a bit of a different world. There are rolls of vinyl and sheets of printed decals everywhere you look. We have some large cutting machines that take up most of the space, and there’s always a bin full of scrap material that we haven't gotten around to clearing out yet. The floors sometimes get a bit sticky from the adhesives we use. We don't really have a fancy office for meeting clients; usually, we just clear off a corner of a work table if someone stops by. Most of our time is spent checking the colors on a print or making sure the edges of a decal are cut exactly right. It’s a very manual process, even with the machines. The air smells a little bit like ink and plastic, which is something you just get used to after a few days of working here. We get orders from all over, but we still feel like a local Andheri shop. We don't do much in the way of self-promotion. We just let the stickers we make do the talking for us. It’s a busy, messy, and productive place to be.
