Creative Enterprise

You can find Creative Enterprise up on Baman Wada Hill in Andheri. It’s a bit of a trek to get up here because of the incline, but we’ve been in this spot for a while. Andheri is always a chaotic place, but being on the hill gives us a little bit of a different perspective on things. The workspace isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we pile up our materials. It’s a small enterprise, just a handful of us doing the daily tasks. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s mostly just a room filled with the things we need to get our jobs done. Sometimes it gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes up the hill. We handle all sorts of small tasks and projects throughout the week. There is no set routine really, just whatever needs to be finished first. The neighbors are mostly families and other small shops, so it feels like a real community. We know the guy who brings the tea and the people at the bottom of the hill. It’s a lot of manual work and staying focused on the small details. We aren't trying to be some big corporation; we just like working for ourselves and doing things our own way. It’s a quiet life up on Baman Wada, and we just keep the doors open and do what we can.
