Nikneh Studio

Nikneh Studio is tucked away near the Tata Power House in Borivali East. It's not a huge place, just a workspace where we get things done. Being in A.K. Vaidya Nagar, we deal with the usual noise of the city, but inside it’s mostly just us working on whatever project is on the desk today. The studio started because we needed a spot to handle our creative stuff without too much fuss. Most mornings start with unlocking the door and checking the mail that gets shoved under there. Borivali has changed a lot since we set up here, and the traffic near the power house can be a real headache some afternoons. We don't have a big reception or anything fancy like that. There’s a desk, some chairs, and the equipment we use every day. People usually find us because they know someone who’s been here before. It's a practical setup. We spend a lot of time just sitting here, focusing on the details of the work. Sometimes the lights flicker when the weather gets bad, but that's just part of being in this old neighborhood. We’ve got a small kettle for tea which gets a lot of use. It’s not a corporate office with a dress code. Usually, it’s just jeans and shirts while we move stuff around. If you’re looking for a shiny lobby, this isn’t it. It’s just Nikneh Studio, doing what we do in our corner of Mumbai.
