Mad-O-Works

Our place is over in Ghatkopar West, right above the Navjeevan Medical shop. If you know Jeedaya Lane, you know it can get pretty cramped with all the people walking around. We are in C-13 Girivihar, which is an older building but it’s sturdy enough for what we do. Getting up the stairs can be a bit of a workout every morning. Usually, the smell of medicines from downstairs drifts up, which is kind of weird but we don't mind it anymore. The office isn't very big, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We do a lot of work on our laptops and there are wires running across the floor in a few places. We probably should tidy those up, but we’re usually too busy with the actual work. Lunchtime is the best part because there are so many good food stalls nearby in Ghatkopar. We often just grab something quick and bring it back to the desks. It’s mostly a quiet atmosphere except when someone is on a long call. We have a few windows that look out onto the lane, but the view is mostly just other buildings and the tops of cars. It’s a practical setup for us. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If someone visits, they just pull up a stool next to one of the tables. It feels like a real workspace, not a showroom.
