Status Ethnic Llp

Our place is in Sigma Estate II, over on Sayani Road in Prabhadevi. If you’ve ever been to Dadar West, you know it’s one of the busiest parts of Mumbai. We’re right in the thick of it. We focus on ethnic wear, which means our workshop is always full of bright colors and heavy fabrics. It gets pretty dusty with all the thread and lint flying around, but that’s just the nature of the beast. We’ve been in these units, 319 and 320, for some time now. It’s a bit of a maze getting through the building, especially with all the other businesses around us. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of our time is spent at the tables, measuring and cutting. It’s physical work and your back usually aches by the end of the day. The staff here are like family; we’ve worked together long enough to know how each other takes their tea. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just make traditional clothes that people can wear for their functions. Sometimes we get a rush order and everyone has to stay late, which usually involves ordering some food and just getting on with it. It’s a bit chaotic, and the organization could be better, but we always get the orders out. That’s just the way we operate here.
