Star Real Estate is based in Mumbai. We don't have one single office that we stay in all day because our work takes us all over this huge city. Mumbai is always growing and buildings are going up everywhere you look. We spend most of our time out on the streets, meeting people at different properties or sitting in small tea stalls to discuss deals. Our home base is just a simple place where we keep our maps and contracts. We are not a giant corporation with thousands of agents. It’s just a small group of us who know the different neighborhoods well. We have seen how the prices change and which areas are becoming popular. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or polished marketing speeches. We just show the flats or the commercial spaces and tell the truth about them. If a place has issues with water or if the building is too old, we just say it. We think people like it better when you are direct with them. Being a real estate agent in Mumbai means spending a lot of time in traffic, but that’s just part of the life here. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we know how to navigate the paperwork and the local rules. We just keep working, one client at a time, and hope for the best for everyone.
