We’ve been set up here at 804 in Mahavir Classic Tower for a good while now. Living and working around Manek Chowk means you get used to the noise and the constant movement on Powai Astodia Road. Our office isn't anything fancy to look at, just some desks, old chairs, and piles of property papers that seem to grow every week. People come in looking for a place to stay or trying to sell a bit of land they’ve had for years. Dealing with property around here is mostly about knowing who is who and which building has water issues. We spend a lot of time on the phone or walking over to meet folks near the tower. It gets really hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always running, even if it squeaks a bit. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us answering the door and trying to figure out the best way to handle the paperwork for whoever walks in. Most of our day is spent tracking down signatures or checking on site locations. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up and we have to walk the stairs, which isn't fun in this weather. But being in the middle of everything in this part of town makes it easier to keep track of what’s happening. We just do our work and go home when the sun goes down.
