Sri K M Murli

In Wadala East, over at Barakat Ali Nagar, I have my place in Basant Mahal. It is 4/C on Darga Road. The area is quite lively, especially because of the Darga being so close. There’s always someone walking by or a bike zooming past the window. My name is Sri K M Murli, and I’ve been operating from this address for quite a while. Basant Mahal is one of those buildings that has seen a lot of years. My office isn't very large, just a basic room where I can sit and get my work done without too much distraction. Most of the people who come by are locals from Wadala or people who heard about me from a friend. I don’t believe in making a big show of things. I just keep my head down and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the water is a bit slow, but that’s just part of living in this part of Mumbai. Darga Road can get really crowded on certain days, which makes getting in and out a bit of a challenge. But I like the energy of the place. It keeps you on your toes. I’ve got my routine down, from the morning tea at the stall nearby to closing up in the evening. It’s just a regular life here, and the neighbors are all pretty good people. I wouldn't want to move my work anywhere else right now.
