Sri Balkrishna Tukaram Shinde

If you head over to Dadar East, you will find Sri Balkrishna Tukaram Shinde in an old building at 9 A/9. It is one of those buildings that has a lot of character, even if the pipes groan sometimes and the stairs are a bit uneven. We have been here for a long time, and I think the walls have seen a lot of history. Dadar East is a special part of the city, and we feel right at home in this old structure. My name is Balkrishna and I handle the daily operations here. It is just me and a couple of others most days. We don't have a big sign outside or a lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and we are there at our desks, usually surrounded by stacks of paper and books. The light comes in through the old windows in a nice way during the afternoon. We do our work quietly and don't make much of a fuss. The building might be old, but we keep our corner of it clean and organized. It is a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but that is just how things are in Mumbai these days. We just keep going, doing the same work we have always done. It is a simple life and we don't ask for much more than a productive day and a bit of peace at the end of it.
