Spoon The Mega Food Court

We are up on the first floor of the Inox building in Nariman Point. If you know the area, you know it gets really busy around lunch time because of all the offices nearby. Opposite us is Bajaj Bhavan, so there are always people crossing the street and coming up to see what we have. It’s a big space, which is why it’s called a mega food court. We spend most of our mornings getting everything ready before the doors open and the crowds start arriving. It’s not just about one type of food here; there are different counters all over the place. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when the movie crowds from the Inox theater mix with the office workers, but that is just how it is in this part of town. Most of us have been working here for a while now. We know the regulars who come in every day for their break. The place has a lot of windows, so you can see out onto the street while you eat. It’s a practical setup for someone who just wants to sit down for twenty minutes and get a meal. We don't do anything fancy with the decor, it's just tables and chairs and a lot of different smells from the kitchens. Usually, by the time evening rolls around, things quiet down a bit before the late show starts. It’s a straightforward operation and we just try to keep things moving.
