Spice India Food Corporation

We work out of Office No-172/3 on the 1St Floor of Gaganan Apartment in Mulund West. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs, but it’s a quiet enough place once you get inside. We are close to Jawaher Lal Nehru Road, so we can hear the city moving outside the windows all day. Spice India Food Corporation is more of an office setup than a storefront, so there are desks and computers and a lot of files piled up. We spend our time talking on the phone and coordinating things that need to happen elsewhere. The walls are a pale color and there isn't much on them except for a calendar and a clock that’s a few minutes fast. Mulund West is a busy part of Mumbai, and being in an apartment building means we have neighbors living right next to where we work. Sometimes the smell of someone's cooking drifts into the office during lunchtime. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist, just a simple door with our name on it. It’s a practical space where we get the administration work done. We try to keep the desk tidy, but by the end of the week, there’s usually paper everywhere. It’s just how we operate, staying busy in this small corner of the building. We just come in, do the hours, and then lock up for the night.
