Sonal Plastics

Our place is in the Sonal Industrial Estate over in Kachpada, which is part of Malad. We’re in units K78 and K79. It’s a typical industrial area where everyone is busy making something or other. You can hear the sounds of machinery from the neighboring units all day long. We’ve got our own setup here for plastic work. It’s not a showroom; it’s a working space where things actually get made. We spend most of our time at the workbenches or checking on the machines. There’s always a bit of scrap plastic on the floor and a layer of dust on the shelves, no matter how much we sweep. That’s just part of the job. Malad is a crowded area, so getting trucks in and out of the estate can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just deal with it. The staff here is small, just a few of us who know the machines inside out. We don’t use a lot of big words or fancy talk. We just listen to what someone wants and see if we can make it happen. Most of our customers are locals or people who have been coming to us for years. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth seems to work okay for us. It’s a steady life, just coming in every day and getting the work finished. We usually close up once the orders for the day are sorted and ready to go.
