Sona Impex

You’ll find Sona Impex at 5, Aditya Appts, on 16th Road in Santacruz West. It’s a residential-feeling area but we’ve got our office set up here. It’s not a huge space, just a few rooms where we handle our import and export work. There isn't a receptionist at a marble desk. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just lets people in. We deal with a lot of paperwork and customs stuff, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We don't pretend to be a massive multinational. We’re just a small team trying to keep the shipments moving. The walls are covered in calendars and maps because that’s what we need for work. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all just have to wait around, which is frustrating but it happens. We don’t have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle in the corner. We’ve been in Santacruz West for a good while and we like the vibe of the neighborhood. People here know us. We don’t have a marketing strategy or anything like that. We just do our jobs and try to be fair with everyone we deal with. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of files, but we make it work. We’re just a regular bunch of people working at Sona Impex. We keep our heads down and do what needs doing every single day.
