Solitaire Impex

Solitaire Impex is tucked away on the third floor of Ganesh Bhavan, which is at 80 Jagruti Mataji Marg in Ramwadi. It’s an older building, and climbing the stairs is our daily exercise. We do import and export work from here. The office is small and filled with samples and boxes that we’re checking. It’s not a flashy place with marble floors or anything like that. We spend a lot of time on the computer and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the paperwork gets overwhelming, but that’s the nature of the import-export business. We have been in Ramwadi for quite a bit now and we like the neighborhood. It’s got a lot of character. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the ropes. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. If we can help someone get what they need, we do it. It’s a lot of tracking shipments and making sure things arrive where they’re supposed to. Sometimes things get delayed at the port, and we have to spend the day sorting that out. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do. We just try to be honest with people and keep things moving. It’s a modest operation, but it keeps us busy and we’re happy with that. We just take life one shipment at a time and try not to worry too much about the small stuff.
