Smt Veena Prakash Shetty

I am Veena Prakash Shetty and I live in Malad East. My address is A-201 in Poonam CHS, which is located in Kokani Pada within Kurar Village. Kurar is a very crowded place, but it has its own charm if you live here long enough. I’ve been in this apartment for several years. It is on the second floor, so I don't have to climb too many stairs if the lift isn't working, which happens sometimes. I run things from here in a very simple way. There is no big office sign or a receptionist at the front. It’s just a home-based setup where I can focus on what needs to get done. The sounds of the village are always in the background—kids playing, people talking, and the local vendors shouting. I find it better than a quiet, empty office. My family helps me out occasionally when things get a bit hectic. We don't have any grand goals or missions that we talk about. We just take it one day at a time and try to help the people who come to us. Malad East is quite different from the West side, it feels more like a tight community here. People stop by to chat and that's how I get most of my work. It’s a very local way of doing things, and it suits me just fine. I think people appreciate that we are just real people living and working here.
