Sliver Bawarchi

We are located at 512 Linking Road in Bandra West. It is a very busy stretch of road with people always shopping and walking by. Our kitchen stays active from the morning onwards. We handle a lot of heavy pots and pans to get the food ready. It is a typical local spot where the focus is on the cooking rather than anything fancy. The noise from Linking Road never really stops, so we just work to the sound of the traffic and the crowds. We spend a lot of time chopping vegetables and preparing the meat for the day's dishes. It gets hot near the stoves, especially in the afternoons. We aren't a big restaurant with many floors, just a straightforward place where we try to get the orders out fast. Most of our staff have been here for a while and they know the routine. We have to scrub the counters down constantly because of the grease and the flour. People come in looking for a quick meal after shopping at the nearby stalls. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls. It is more about the smell of the spices and the sound of the pans hitting the burners. We just keep going until the last customer leaves and we can finally turn off the lights and head home. The delivery bikes are always zooming in and out of the alley nearby.
