We are located at number 12 in Andheri, which is always a hectic place to be no matter the time of day. If you know Mumbai, you know that Andheri is constantly moving, and our little spot for Sivom Realtors is right in the thick of it. The office isn't very large, just enough room for a few desks and a place for people to sit down when they want to talk about renting or buying a place. We spend a lot of our time on our phones, talking to owners and looking for new listings that might be coming up. The walls are mostly covered with maps of the local area and some notes we’ve scribbled down about different buildings. It gets really loud outside with the traffic and the people, so we usually keep the windows shut to get some work done. It’s a lot of running around, honestly. One minute we are in the office and the next we are taking someone to see a flat a few blocks away. You have to be quick in this business or you miss out on things. We don’t try to make it sound better than it is, it’s just hard work and a lot of traveling back and forth in the heat. We’ve met all sorts of people here, from young folks looking for their first room to families wanting something bigger. The building is old and the lift is a bit moody, so we often take the stairs instead.
