Singh Industry

Singh Industry is based over at A-27 in Marol. It’s a pretty standard industrial unit. We’ve been here for several years now, just handling various manufacturing tasks that come our way. Marol is a busy place with a lot of movement, so there’s always a truck blocking the lane or someone shouting for a delivery. Our space isn’t huge, but we make the most of it with the machines we have. We do a lot of small-scale production for other companies in the area. It’s mostly just making sure the parts are right and the machines don’t break down at the wrong time. We don’t have a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find whoever is closest to the door. There’s always the smell of cutting oil and metal in the air, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We keep a small team of guys who know their way around the shop floor. It’s not a glamorous life, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks as long as the work gets done. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it’s worked for us so far in this part of town. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch of parts, but that is just part of the trade. We focus on the machines and the metal, making sure everything that leaves A-27 is exactly what was asked for.
