Shweta Jhaveri Insurance Agent

I spend most of my days sitting here at the desk at Shweta Jhaveri Insurance Agent. We are right by Grant Road Nana Chowki, so it gets really loud with all the horns and people rushing to the station. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few chairs and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. I usually get in around ten and start by going through the renewals that are coming up. People just walk in off the street because they saw the sign while stuck in traffic. Sometimes they have a lot of questions about their health papers or car stuff, and we just sit and talk through it over some tea. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the fan is just moving the warm air around, but that is just how it is here. I have a lot of regular people from the neighborhood who have been coming to me for years. They know where I am, right in the middle of all the Nana Chowki chaos. We don't really do the big fancy advertisements you see on TV. It is mostly just me and the paperwork and the phone ringing when someone has a problem. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait, which gives us time to catch up on the local news. It’s a simple way of working, but it keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the evening.
