Shweta Dresses Dadar Mumbai is located at No. 200-A Vishnu Niwas. We are right near the Geeta Bar on Senapati Bapat Marg. If you know Dadar West, you know it’s one of the busiest places you can find. There is always something happening on the street outside. People are always walking past heading to the station or the market. Vishnu Niwas is an older building with a lot of character. We have been making dresses here for quite some time. It’s not a fancy boutique with bright lights and mirrors everywhere. It’s more of a workshop where we actually sit and do the work. The noise from Senapati Bapat Marg is just part of the background now. We don't even hear the trains or the traffic anymore. Being near Geeta Bar makes it easy for people to find us. We just focus on getting the dresses ready. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of fabric delivered. We just move things around and keep going. Dadar is the heart of the city for many of us. We feel like we are right in the middle of everything here. It’s a plain, honest place to work. We don’t do big ads. Most people just know we are here in Vishnu Niwas. We just wake up, come to Dadar West, and get to work on the dresses. It’s just how we have always done things.
