We have been at Shop No 1 in Sahakar Nagar for quite some time now. It’s right there in Andheri West, not too far from Apna Bazar. It is a busy spot, and there is always something going on outside the door. Being near the market means we see a lot of faces every day. We handle things here at Shukla Estate Agency in a very direct way. No big sales pitches. If you need a place to stay or a shop to rent, we look at what’s open and tell you the details. The office is small and gets a bit crowded with files sometimes, but we know where everything is. Andheri is a huge place, but we focus on our little corner near Sahakar Nagar because that’s where we live and work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, and new buildings going up where old ones used to be. It’s hard to keep track sometimes, but that’s our job. We talk to the landlords and the tenants and try to make sure everyone is on the same page. It’s mostly just us answering the phone and showing people around when they have time.
