Our office is at A-11 in Kandivali West. It’s a small spot, but it’s right in the heart of the area where we do most of our work. Kandivali is a busy place, and there are always new buildings going up or old ones being renovated. We try to keep track of all of it from our little desk. The office itself is quite basic. We have a few chairs for visitors and a table where we keep our registers. We aren't big on fancy decorations or modern office gadgets. Most of what we do involves talking to people and visiting sites, so we aren't always sitting inside. When we are here, we are usually catching up on the phone calls we missed or filing away new papers. The street outside can get quite loud with the traffic and the local vendors, but that’s just part of being in this part of Mumbai. We’ve known the people around here for years, and they know where to find us if they need to ask about a shop or a flat. It’s a very local business, and we don't try to make it seem like anything else. We just open the shutters in the morning, sweep the floor, and get to work. It’s a simple life, and we like the routine of it. If you’re walking through Kandivali West, you’ll probably pass by us eventually. We are here most days until late evening.
