Shruti Gunjan Music School

Our school is over in Andheri West, specifically in the Apollo Industrial Estate. It’s an interesting place for a music school, tucked away in B/36 off Mahakali Caves Road. You might hear different instruments being played at the same time if you walk down the hall. Shruti Gunjan Music School is where we teach people how to play and sing. We have students of all ages coming in. Some are kids whose parents want them to learn something traditional, and some are adults who just want a hobby. The industrial estate can be a bit gray, but inside our rooms, it’s all about the music. We have spaces for different classes. It isn’t a huge conservatory, just a practical place to practice. We spend our days listening to scales and correcting finger positions. Sometimes the sounds from the neighboring units are loud, but we get used to it. People find us because they want to learn properly. We don’t have big advertisements or a marketing team. Most people hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It is just a dedicated space for learning. We keep the instruments tuned and the schedules organized as best as we can. It’s a lot of repetition, but that’s how you get better at music. We are just here doing our thing every day.
