We are based in Vile Parle East, right on the Kathriguppe Main Road. Shroffs Architects & Interior Designers is a local team. We’ve been around the block a few times and seen how much construction has changed in this area. Our office is usually full of rolls of blueprints and half-finished models. We do both the big structural stuff and the smaller interior details. It makes the day go by fast when you are switching between structural beams and picking out fabrics. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. When you come in, you’re likely to see us working at our desks or talking to a contractor on the phone. We try to be practical about everything. If a design looks good but is too expensive to build, we tell you. We'd rather be honest than promise something we can't do. Living and working in Vile Parle East means we see our work every time we walk down the street. It’s a good feeling to see a building you worked on still looking good years later. We deal with the usual headaches like rain delays and material shortages, but we get through it. It’s just us doing our jobs. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in the city, just the one that does things properly. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a drawing, but that's how it goes. Our families are used to it.
