Shri Vikas Chandravadan Gandhi

I have been working here at Alka Apartments in Kandivali East for quite some time now. People usually know the area around Shantappa Lane and S J P Road because it is a busy spot but still feels like home to many of us who have stayed here for years. My name is Shri Vikas Chandravadan Gandhi and if you are looking for number 402, that is where you will find me. The building isn’t the newest one on the block but it has character and the neighbors are all quite friendly when you see them in the hallway or near the entrance. Sometimes the traffic on S J P Road gets a bit loud during the peak hours in the morning and evening, but once you get inside the apartment, things settle down. I spend most of my days dealing with the usual routine of things that need to get done. It is not a fancy office with glass walls and expensive furniture, just a regular space where work happens. Kandivali is a place where everyone is trying to make a living and I am just part of that crowd. You get used to the sounds of the street and the way the sun hits the building in the afternoon. I like being situated here because everything I need is basically within walking distance. It makes the day go by a bit smoother when you do not have to travel halfway across Mumbai just to get lunch.
