Shri Santosh Kumar Pandey

Our workshop is in the Jay Gopal Industrial Estate in Chembur, specifically at A 6/7 on B Cross Road. If you’ve ever been to this industrial area, you know it’s a place where people really work. It’s full of small units making all sorts of things. Shri Santosh Kumar Pandey is the name we use. The air usually smells like grease or metal or whatever the neighbor is working on that day. It’s not a polished corporate office by any means. We have heavy doors and concrete floors because that’s what makes sense here. Our day starts early, usually before the heat really sets in. Chembur is a big area, but the industrial estate is its own little world. We know the other guys on B Cross Road. We help each other out if someone needs a tool or a hand with something heavy. Inside our unit, it’s mostly just tools and materials and a small corner where we handle the bills. It gets loud when everyone is working at once, but you get used to the noise. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just do the work and people find us. It’s been this way for a long time. We take pride in just getting things finished and ready to go. We are just regular people doing a day's work and heading home. It's hard work but it's what we know best and we've been doing it for years now.
